Festival of Art History is postponed
3 avril 2020 Due to the public health crisis currently affecting the entire globe and the consequent uncertainties, the Institut national d’histoire de l’art and the château de Fontainebleau, in consultation with the Ministry of Culture, have made the decision to postpone the Festival of Art History until next summer. Initially scheduled for June 2020, this major annual gathering of professionals and the general public will now take place on June 4-6, 2021. As planned, the invited guest country of the festival’s tenth edition will be Japan and the theme will be pleasure. 4 novembre 2017 Le responsable du mécénat et des participations du château a pu mettre en place, grâce à la King Baudouin Foundation US, une interface en ligne permettant aux donateurs américains de faire un don directement au château, tout en profitant des dispositions fiscales américaines : https://kbfus.networkforgood.com/projects/38639-c-kbfus-funds-ch-teau-de-fontainebleau-fr Cette interface s’appelle « American Friends of château de Fontainebleau », mais il ne s’agit pas d’une association comme pour Versailles ou le Louvre. N’hésitez pas à vous emparer de cet outil et à le communiquer à vos contacts américains qui souhaiteraient soutenir Fontainebleau.
